Perseverance makes a driver to the winning driver - 11-speed drive system of the latest generation. For the new Dura Ace 9000 series Shimano has evolved each system component, used to create one of the most innovative component group sets of all time.

One of the outstanding results of this new development is the variety of transmission possibilities, corresponding to the already known "rider tuned" concept. The new 11-speed drive allows each driver to "tune" the bike for each specific application by various gradations.

With their smaller and elegant levers, the 11-speed STI ST-9000 exhibit improved ergonomics, which leads not only to increased comfort, but also for improved control. In addition the levers provide lighter and faster shifting.

The ST-9000 have a lower grip diameter, suitable also for smaller hands. The dual-compound grip rubbers provide better grip.

The Dual Control Levers are mounted on the handlebar with a titanium fixing band and a titanium bolt to reduce weigt.
